We purchased Ebony from the feedlot in July of 2019. She was purchased with private donations. When we got her she was already bred and pregnant--we do not know when she was bred or what breed the stallion was. She was very wary of humans but has been learning to trust. She has a substantial scar on her throat and doesn’t like to be touched. We have no idea how it happened. We spend a lot of time with Ebony trying to teach her that we are not going to hurt her. She has really come around and she is going to make someone a great horse.

Ebony was placed with her new family on October 2nd, 2021. Her new family plans on continuing to work with her and get her to the point of a well-rounded family horse.
