Spirit

Spirit is a nine year old Tennessee Walker pinto mare that has unfortunately been diagnosed with EPM (Equine protozoal myeloencephalitis - a disease found in horses that affects the central nervous system) and is not able to be ridden for safety reasons. She was placed with our Toni Ponies follower, Deborah, as an interim home. Deborah knew she could not keep her but set out to find a safe place for this girl to land. If Deborah had not taken her she was scheduled to go to the game farm on June 20th to be used for wild animal food. Deborah contacted us because she cares so much and knows that none of us want to see such a young healthy horses life cut short just because she’s not useful. We will keep Spirit as long as she is healthy and comfortable or until the right person comes along looking for a pasture pet to love on! This girl is so sweet. She's really just arrived and we don't have many photos uf her yet. Please check back for more to come!
