The Arrival of Ruth and Buddy!

With Changing Weather Comes Shelter Building!

November 24, 2020

As most of you now, we have a big barn down in the field at the farm that most of our horses use when the weather isn't so good. Our mini's also have a covered shelter over in their pasture as well. Due to the unique position we are in this winter with Ruth, Buddy, and Jessy being fenced in their own areas, we had to build some new shelters for them before the winter weather hit!

Andy put this these two stalls up, with a little added covered area for hay and grain. It's nothing fancy but it will keep these two dry and comfortable for the winter!
This is just one example of how we use the generous donations we receive. Thank you for allowing us to keep these horses safe and comfortable through some of the tougher months!

2nd Annual Toni's Ponies

Fundraiser Yard Sale

How can we ever begin to thank everyone for making our 2nd Annual Toni's Ponies Yard Sale such a success?!? Our final total for the three day yard sale was $9487.00!!! You are all unbelievably amazing and generous. We appreciate EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. From everyone who helped set up, unload, break down, organize items, and most of all--everyone who stopped by and shopped. The generosity of our community never ceases to amaze me... We passed our surgery goal for Jessy's eye, and have funds left over for winter hay and any horse related expenses that may come our way.

July 20, 2020

Ruth is a completely wild horse and was rounded up off the range in Yakima, along with her foal who was separated from her and sold. We called on our amazing village to help us raise the funds to rescue Ruth from the slaughter yard, and you all answered our call for help!!! Ruth arrived to the farm on Sunday, September 27th, 2020 and she was in pretty rough shape, but she was now safe.

Fast forward a week--we were contacted by some folks who had bought Ruth's baby after they were rounded up, and they asked if we would take him. We were absolutely on board to make this happen, and couldn't have been anymore excited to reunite this mother/son duo! Thank you to the help of some good friends of ours, Ruth's baby was loaded up into a trailer and brought to the farm! He is also in pretty bad shape but he is now safe and back with his mother and they can now start the healing process together! We have decided to name him Buddy. We look forward to keeping everyone updated and having you all follow along this rehabilitation journey with us.

Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser has been postponed due to COVID-19

Hi folks,

In light of recent news and advisories about COVID-19 we have decided to postpone our spaghetti feed fundraiser that was scheduled for March 21st. It is important to us that everyone and anyone who wants to join us and support our mission, including our friends that are at risk, will be able to take part in the fun. We will reschedule at a time that everyone feels safe to come out and enjoy the music and games. Look out for future announcements when we set a new date! We have put so much work into this event and we can’t wait to share some music and dinner with you all when the time comes. Thank you for understanding and for your wonderful support!

NEW TENTATIVE FUNDRAISER DATE:

TBD in Accordance with the Stay at Home Order

We still appreciate any help towards caring for the horses, so please check out our merchandise, or donate if you are able! Even shopping can help the horses! We will be updating the merchandise stock over the next couple of days, as we are getting in new exciting products--so make sure to check back! In addition, we have an account for Toni’s Ponies at our local feed store, Viking Feed (www.vikingfeed.com). We can accept direct donations of credit onto our account for feed if you call them at 360-297-3582.

We greatly appreciate any form of support for our horses!

Stay healthy!

Thank you,

The Toni’s Ponies Crew
